Ad hoc and quick sampling
Sampling for standard and customised products refers to the production of customised samples or prototypes in a short time frame for customers who request them. These samples are made quickly and tailor-made and allow the customer to assess the quality, design (shape, size and dimensions), functionality and other characteristics of the product, before mass production or final implementation. On custom projects, we provide free and quick ad-hoc samples, which allow either customers to carry out tests and any laboratory tests to certify the product before proceeding with the final release. For some time now, a 3D printer has been installed in SLIM's production department for prototyping, allowing the creation of customised samples and avoiding the creation of a pilot mould. The sampling of customised products is at no additional cost to the applicant if the project is subsequently started.
Production flexibility and flexible batches
Production flexibility has become increasingly important in a business environment characterised by rapid change, volatile market dynamics and a growing demand for customisation. Being a flexible company allows you to respond quickly and effectively to changes in demand, in the market and in different operating conditions. At SLIM, as an SME, we have been working for several years to ensure maximum production flexibility: flexibility also and above all lies in the ability to supply small production batches (from 100 pieces) up to larger batches, from hundreds of thousands of pieces, even for foreign countries, with a tendency to shorten lead times compared to the industry average.
